Tulips in their full beauty
Good day dear Community, I hope you are well and you have had an interesting weekend which was full of positive experiences! In this post I would like to present you some colorful photos of a wonderful flower.
Here you can see one of the most beautiful early bloomers, the tulip, which is also scientifically called a Tulipa. I wrote a post about it less than two weeks ago, on a rainy day on which the flowers were still all closed and you can see how quickly, most of them have now opened up and show their full splendor! If you are interested in my last post, you are very welcome to stop by here.
Tulips are just adorable in my opinion, when tulips open it seems like they are starting to smile! It is also something unique when you present flowers in different colors to create a additional good mood. Not all tulips have opened yet, but especially since the days are getting warmer again, they open all the faster. You can also influence it by using lukewarm water, so the flowers will open even faster, but the water should not be too hot!
Tulips are poisonous and toxic but I was able to find out something interesting about the healing effect, it is not commonplace and something rare that is associated with it. By the way, many medicinal plants have the property that they have toxic ingredients and only certain active ingredients can be medically effective, but you should keep your hands off self-experiments with tulips!
From a medical point of view the bulb, which is used in homeopathy or in ready-made preparations, can be interesting against ulcers or inflammation. There are also some areas of application in Traditional Chinese medicine and the species Tulipa edulis is specifically used there. From a pharmaceutical point of view, the active ingredient tuliposide can be especially interesting, which can have an antibiotic and antifungal effect, a side effect of this active ingredient is that it can lead to skin irritation. As always, it is important to mention that you should always ask your doctor about the correct use, dosage and possible side effects!
Thank you for visiting my post and I hope you like my new contribution! I used my camera Sony Alpha 6000 and Sony SEL-55210 Telephoto Zoom Lens (55-210mm) to take these pictures.
Lovely pictures of 🌷 Tulip. Yeah' I remember about the post of tulip flowers before that. Now they are looking awsome 😍. It's medicinal use is amazing to know.
Thanks for your motivating comment! It's a pleasure for me that you like my post :) That's true, it's a bit rarer but very interesting! As mentioned, you should always pay attention to the correct application and ask the doctor beforehand!
I love spring when all the flowers are blooming! Those are some great shots and very interesting info about properties the bulbs have, I haven't heard that before!
