The Painter Marie von Miller
Hey dear Hive friends, first of all I would like to welcome you all to my new post and hope you were able to have one or the other positive experience! In this post, I would like to present a painter in more detail and hope you can learn something new about art.
Here is an oil painting made by the German painter Marie von Miller (1861 - 1933) and she was born as the daughter of the professor of medicine Franz Seitz, who has a considerable career in pharmacy behind him. She married the famous engineer Oskar von Miller (1855 - 1934) and she lived at a time when there was almost no equality between the sexes and so she always led a life behind her husband although she was an extremely talented painter and she renounced a career as an artist and decided to marry Oskar and lead a family life with him but before the wedding came, a few years passed and there were some complications on the part of Oskar's family and after more than five years they finally decided to marry. The two moved to Berlin and Marie devoted herself completely to her tasks as a housewife and together they gave birth to children and while her husband worked as an engineer, she took over the education of her children, but still devoted herself a lot to art in her free time and she also aroused an early interest in photography and after a few years the family moved back to Munich. In her early years Marie wanted to study art, but unfortunately women were not accepted at the academy at that time, but she was lucky and had the ability to learn drawing privately and especially dedicated herself to landscape painting and preferred to draw with watercolor or oil. While she had raised her children, she always drew a lot and devoted herself to art and as her children grew older she had more time to devote herself to painting and she liked to use the moments to look for quiet places in the countryside and to be inspired for her works and she was generally considered very loyal to nature and liked to go on excursions. Some of her works were also influenced by trips to Italy and as already mentioned above she also devoted herself a lot to photography and started taking pictures early on and one of her passions was to edit the photos and I find her works very remarkable and find it strong that she never let herself be dragged down despite some hurdles such as the sexual separation and she also lost some of her children early on and still remained faithful to art.
Thanks a lot for stopping by and I hope you can learn something new about art history! I used my iPhone 12 to take these pictures.

The most special thing about a painting is that if the colors are good, the painting looks very beautiful.
The color scheme is well expressed by Marie von Miller :)
