The painter Joseph Wenglein

Hey dear community, at the beginning I would like to welcome you to my new post and hope you had a post that has been full of positive experiences! In this post, I would like to talk a little about art history and hope you can expand your knowledge.

Here you can see a painting by the painter Joseph Wenglein (1845 - 1919) who focused particularly on the representation of landscapes and his focus was the painting of Alpine landscapes and he has managed to make the works look extremely lively as well as realistic through his very own style. I particularly like the light effects and he manages to create an effect with the combination of the right colors or stylistic devices that invites the viewer in an enchanting atmosphere and he can also be considered one of the most important landscape painters of his time. He had a vein for art early on, but he first took a different path and studied another topic and during this time he decided to continue his artistic education in parallel and attended the Academy of Fine Arts in Munich and later he decided to focus fully on art and had the opportunity to learn more in the studio of a well-known artist. He also made more and more contacts with other artists and also dealt with other things that shaped landscape painting such as historical topics and he decided to concentrate on visiting his surroundings and was looking for suitable sources of inspiration there and through his very own and unmistakable recognition value he managed well to adapt the mood to the different times of the day. A big point for his inspirations was to visit nature in his spare time and he made often excursions into nature to collect new moments which he depicted in his works.
