The effects of Reading

Hey dear community, at the beginning I would like to welcome you all to my new post and hope you had a day that was full of positive experiences! In my new post, I would like to address an interesting topic and hope you can learn something new.

Here you can see pictures of a book as well as a work of art by the artist Carl Spitzweg (1808 - 1885) which bears the title the bookworm and brings out this topic well and I would like to write something about the effects on the body of books in this article. There is numerous evidence that reading is very good for the psyche and can have a positive effect on the cognitive abilities of the brain and can lead to strong improvements in the long run and it can definitely be considered as a form of brain training that can also improve perception. The ability to concentrate can also be strengthened by regular reading and the brain cells are trained by it and both the short and the long-term memory is promoted by reading and it is also interesting that it improves the ability to better understand patterns and recognize complex mechanisms. Like most perceptions, reading has a strong influence on the subconscious and of course it always depends on the book what influence it has on the brain and more complex or profound books have a particularly strong effect and can improve the analytical way of thinking. Even if it is about communication, reading can be an advantage and help to understand or express things better and the vocabulary is also improved and trained and it also comes to the fact that you are able to structure and divide information better.

Reading can also have soothing properties and help against stress and it has been found out and if you should read in the evening, this can even help you fall asleep and improve the quality of sleep as well as have an influence on dream behavior and especially for people with sleep disorders, reading can do real miracles. The emotions generated by reading have very individual effect on physical health and can lead to the blood pressure or heartbeat being affected and soothing books have a particularly good influence on well-being and it can also be considered as medicine and in case of illness, reading not only distracts but stimulates the whole body. The information obtained through reading can help to promote creativity or inspiration and through the boosting of the imagination, the emotions are also strengthened and if you read books in other languages it can help to improve the linguistic skills. During reading, there are a whole series of releases of hormones and also against the aging process, reading can have many interesting advantages and counteract it and it happens more than you think while reading and in parallel a whole series of complex systems run that affect the whole body and it can always be worth reading in your free time.
