Here you can see an oil painting by the German painter Josef Schoyerer (1844 - 1923) which has mainly focused on the painting of landscapes and in most of his works he has focused on mountain landscapes. In this work he has oriented himself on the view of the edge of a village and in the distance you can see a lake and mountain landscapes and I think he has managed to create a very realistic as well as lifelike work of art which also looks very lively and atmospheric. You can recognize some people who are currently working in a field near some buildings as well as trees and by choosing the right shades of green, Schoyerer has managed to express nature well and if you take a look at the clouds or into the distance, you notice that he has not left out any detail and both the spatial perception and the exposure creates an inviting mood for the viewer and it almost gives the impression that you are at this place yourself. Josef Schoyerer was born in 1844 in Berching in the Upper Palatinate and before he devoted himself to painting, he first learned Latin and then decided to study and some later he recognized his passion for art and he decided to focus particularly on detailed landscape painting. He became a student of the painter Karl Millner (1825 - 1895) who had made a good reputation as a painter and had focused particularly on painting mountains and he was a great inspiration for Schoyerer and taught him everything important. Already during his studies, he undertook numerous trips and he often visited Italy, Austria or Switzerland where he was very inspired by the enchanted landscape and at that time he also developed an interest in mining and also liked to paint mines or other things associated with mountains. He was one of the well-known German landscape painters of late Romanticism and made a very well-known name for himself as an artist and his works were already very appreciated during his lifetime and could be viewed at exhibitions and he also received numerous honors and nowadays his works can be found in different museums or art houses.
