Often the moon is also referred to as the eye of the night and according to alchemical legends, the dew is traced back to the moon and is also often referred to as the milk of the moon which gives immortality and the moon is generally often associated with healing properties. The ancient alchemists also associated the moon with the metal silver and together with the sun, which also stands as a symbol of the sun, these are the most important symbols and often this was also taken into account in the preparation of alchemical recipes and thought the different moon phases would influence the structure of water, which was important for the production of tinctures or other substances. Silver is also represented in the alchemical alphabet as a crescent and in ancient alchemical works of art, deities from mythology were often depicted and especially works in this context from the 16th Century appear which represent the goddesses Hecate from Greek mythology or Diana from Roman mythology and also in ancient writings one often finds connection to mythology and alchemy. In general, the moon is also often associated with femininity and the cycle of the different phases is associated with transformations as well as prima materia which has already been mentioned by the Greek scholar Aristotle and is referred to as the first matter and was of great importance for alchemy.

The moon is also often associated with magic as well as occult practices or the underworld and Silver also often occurs in connection with an alchemical wedding and, according to philosophical thoughts, describes the union between gold and silver or two opposites and is also associated with dissolution or solve and the sun stands for coagula or coagulate and together for Solve et Coagula which also defines one of the most important principles of alchemy. You can see the motto such that something has to be broken for the first time before you then put it back together again and it is also often associated with the spagyrics and is of great importance to dissolve substances and then put them together again for the production of medicines and from a spiritual point of view it is also often associated with separating the spiritual mind and returning them to the original place. The old alchemists also thought that the moon has the ability to influence nutrients and is able to influence the forces of the body as well as consciousness and this was particularly interesting for stimulating self-healing and in conclusion, it can be said that the moon plays an important role in alchemy in many ways.

Interesting stuff. Also worth noting that there are still many farmers and gardeners who plant and nurture their plants based on the phases of the moon.

The moon is a beautiful model just like the sky, it looks so elegant and awakens that feeling of warmth, I explain myself, I look at it and feel freshness, possibly I am the only one who feels this :)
