Monomad - Two different Anemones

Hello dear Hive community, welcome to my new post and I wish you a good day! Today I would like to present you beautiful flowers and I took it for the #monomad challenge, hopefully you like my pictures!

Different anemones can be seen, which are also scientifically called Anemone nemorosa and Anemone ranunculoides. At the bottom of the post I will also attach the pictures in color, so you can see the full beauty! I was also lucky enough to photograph a butterfly that is collecting its food on a plant that looks very similar and bears the name Ficaria verna.

In Roman mythology there is a interesting story related to the origin of the name. The wife of the god Zephyr, Flora had an argument about jealousy and she turned the nymph Anemona into a flower. There are more different stories about the origin of a very closely related plant that are associated with mythology. Also in spirituality there are interesting views on these anemones. In ancient times, it was often associated with magic and magical powers and was used for ritual purposes. Attention: The plant contains the active ingredient protoanemonin and is therefore poisonous and must be treated with caution, as it can lead to irritation of the skin!
