Exploring the Pyramids of Giza
Hey dear community, at the beginning I would like to welcome you all to my new post and hope you have a day so far that is full of interesting experiences! I have decided to share something about my travel experiences again and I am happy if you like what I do.
When I visited Egypt I saw various locations and got to see different facets of the culture and was able to make some impressive experiences in the capital Cairo where some of the most famous sights of the country can be found. Cairo was my first stop and I decided on the first day to drive straight to the pyramids to Giza which are just outside the heart of Cairo and the travel time took about an hour for which I ordered an Uber which I can recommend in every respect for other visitors because it works reliably here and is also cheap. Not everywhere in Egypt Uber works or the waiting times are way too long but in Cairo there are small problems here and it can also be recommended to choose the option Uber Comfort to get even better vehicles and who should drive by taxi, I can recommend to ask for a fixed price because the taxi drivers often do not have a taxi meter and therefore ask for more money. When I arrived at the pyramids it was still relatively early and quiet and at the ticket counter there are the different tickets to choose from and it can be worthwhile to buy a combined ticket which I unfortunately do not have and therefore had to buy the extra tickets again on site at the pyramids which cost a little more time because they have to be booked online.
The standard tickets start from about 9$ and to get inside the pyramids you have to buy additional tickets again if you don't have them bought on the entrance, which is why I can only recommend buying them right at the beginning. Everywhere on the site there are also people who also offer a ride on the camel or horse, but extreme attention must be taken here because everyone offers other prices which are sometimes extremely exaggerated and here people simply should ask different persons to avoid these falls and who still wants a ride with the camel, after the visit on the other side you will get much cheaper prices and also here can still be traded. There were also many who tried to sell me something that I sometimes found very annoying, but not all are the same here and there were also sellers who gave something away for free, but also numerous scammers who offer to take a photo and in the end ask for money for it, which is why visitors should be skeptical and not trust everyone here.

On the site itself there is also a shuttle bus which takes visitors from one pyramid to another, but this route to the pyramids can also be walked as I did and then I drove back to the entrance again with the bus which is included in the ticket and ordered an Uber to the hotel again, which also works here at the pyramids well. The entire complex is considered a world wonder of antiquity which is also in such an excellent condition and is also more than interesting from an architectural point of view and offers many surprises such as an engineering art which can also be seen inside the pyramids. Not every pyramid can be entered but three and I think it were even one more which was closed on this day but people here have to be prepared in every respect that it's very tight and some get claustrophobia because it's really extremely tight, but nothing can happen here and there is no reason to be afraid to go in. The most famous pyramids that can be found here are the Cheops, Chephren and Menkaure pyramid and another highlight is the well-known Sphinx which is a mythical creature that has the body of a lion and the head of a pharaoh.

The construction of the pyramids leaves many questions open which have not been clarified to this day and it is assumed that part of the material came from the area itself while another had to be transported hundreds of kilometers and thousands of people were involved in the construction behind which a well-structured system is in which everything was precisely planned. Even when it comes to the location, nothing was left to chance and I was amazed at how exactly the pyramids were adapted to the cardinal directions and here too the length or dimensions are perfect and how they were built so accurately is a large mystery for many which to this day is still not exactly clarified but proves how intelligent the ancient Egyptians were and what advanced technologies they had.

In addition to the purpose as burial chambers, there are thousands of secrets and mysteries that are associated with these buildings and some are of the opinion that a special energy is emitted here, which is why it could also be of interest to some from a spiritual point of view and there were also repeated phenomena that have occurred in the area for which there is no explanation and are still being investigated by scientists today. To this day, the pyramids are intensively researched and are not without reason one of the most famous sights of the country and who should be here must not miss to pay a visit to the pyramids and those who start in the morning can count on a good day trip. I hope the small recommendations above may be of interest to one or the other and it's also important to take a lot of water with you because the drinks here cost many times more and people also need sun protection how long clothes or a good hat.
Many thanks for stopping by and I hope you could learn something new and like my post and appreciate my effort! I captured these pictures with my Sony Alpha 6000 plus 55-210 mm and iPhone 16.

Wow, that must have been an amazing experience! Pyramids are always a subject of study and discussion. Were they built by humans? Aliens? Transformers? Haha, structures that stir our imagination!
That was it indeed! :) It’s just diverse in every way and there was so much to see!
And many mysteries to solve haha, I'm glad you enjoyed this moment! Have a good night, cheers.

Great post, I was in Giza and saw the pyramids and the observatory, fascinating
Happy that we share this experience! Did you went inside the pyramids?
Visiting the Pyramids of Giza must have been amazing. Thanks for sharing the tips, they’ll be really helpful for anyone planning a trip. The pyramids look incredible in your photos.
I’m glad to hear that you like my post and that you also find my tips useful! There is so much to consider in every respect and I hope everyone has a good and safe experience, at every corner there is someone who wants to sell you something, sometimes extremely intrusive. But that’s only in tourist places, which is why I really enjoyed being in contact with some locals who are extremely open and have a completely different mentality. Anyone who meets Egyptians quickly gets involved in a conversation and it is not unusual for someone to even be invited.
Giza pyramids, oh I really would like to visit them one day, you pictures are really impressive and tempting... Well of course they try and milk tourists, that's normal
Thank you so much for the feedback
What an awesome adventure! I've always wanted to see the pyramids but the time I had plans to go were ruined by a terror attack at the pyramids... How interesting it must have been to go inside such old structures and see the details of how the were built all those millennia ago. Such a cool post, thanks for sharing your adventure with us all here on Hive!

May I ask what happened? There were many attacks on tourists in the past, which is why the presence of security forces was increased extremely. In Luxor I saw even more than in Cairo, everywhere military or armed police to see every few meters. I would describe Egypt as generally safe, but with restriction, which is why I would not recommend it for travel beginners to be honest. There are many tricks or scammers, but this only refers to the tourist areas and the best thing someone can do is, like me, to meet locals who are totally open. I was even invited to a wedding and have experienced that Egyptians are extremely open. However, you still have to be careful, a few things have happened to me that were kind of strange, which is why I would describe it partly as unsafe, but if someone knows these tricks it is safe. However, everything is better than sitting around in some tourist resort and having nothing of the culture :)
I don't even recall what year it was, but Al Qaeda attacked a bunch of tourists at the pyramids themselves gunning down a lot of innocent people down. Ever since then the security has become much tighter, but at the time I was sill part of the US Army. Travel to Egypt was banned for us after that, so I never had a chance to reschedule.
It's like any middle eastern country (even though it's in Africa), you have to be careful. Many people are very kind but there are also those that would do you harm. I spent enough time in Iraq to get to know the culture well!
Thanks for all your support
AWESOMEEEE!!! I really wanna visit there, I hope soon I will

I've only ever seen these pyramids in movies, I'm being honest, hahaha.
When it comes to analyzing how these people worked on these pyramids, we know that many people were involved, but the master builders, so to speak, were highly skilled in their work. Can you imagine if they worked with today's technological advancements. From this, we deduce that human beings are very intelligent, created in the image of God. Those who say that extraterrestrials were there are possibly misinformed, or perhaps we're giving this idea a degree of probability. What do you say, ¿humans or extraterrestrials? I say both, hahaha.
This is a very beautiful place to visit and explore if you will ask me
