Exploring the Egyptian Museum of Civilization
Hey dear readers, first of all I would like to welcome you to my new post and hope you all have a day full of unique experience! Also today I have decided to share something about one of my experiences while traveling and I am happy if you are able to expand your knowledge.
I have already mentioned the Egyptian Museum of Civilization in the past contributions and today I have taken the time to finally go into it more. While the other Egyptian museum in Cairo is already over 100 years old, this one is still a much newer one, but even if the museum was only opened a few years ago, the planning began decades ago and at that time the founders had the ideology to build a large museum which should tell pretty much everything about the history of the country and this with as many facets as possible. I was able to find out that these problems can be traced back to some problems in bureaucracy as well as aspects of financing and in addition, political unrest in 2011 paralyzed the construction and it should take until 2021 until the grand opening took place. The museum already looks very modern from the outside and the diversity inside or the huge collection makes it extremely amazing, which is why there should be something for everyone and in part it also has interactive elements.
There is so much to see and I have clearly noticed how the operators have worked hard to awaken ancient Egypt completely and to briefly explain the structure, it starts with the prehistory of the country over the pharaonic era to the modern facets of Egypt. With over 40,000 objects, the collection is considerable in every respect and great value was attached not only to the cultural aspects but also to how the technology has developed and already decades ago, some of well-known experts were involved in the planning. Even if there were hundreds of problems during the construction which probably almost led the owners to give up, something remarkable was still set up and I can only recommend every visitor to the city to pay a visit to the museum. It has definitely developed into one of the most important museums of the country, which also actively participates in various projects such as in the field of research and general cultural promotion, and another special thing are probably also the changing exhibitions.
Many thanks for stopping by and I hope you could learn something new and like my post and appreciate my effort! I captured these pictures with my Sony Alpha 6000 plus 55-210 mm.

How much big is it? It seems a challenge on which museum in Egypt you want to visit if you had to choose one
It is best to choose both :) It already has a lot to offer and it should in any case be planned enough time!
This is really a very beautiful places to look forward to actually visit
Glad I could motivate you :)
I've always loved ancient Egyptian culture. Unfortunately, I may never visit Egypt and will only see all these treasures in Discovery movies.
You should definitely make up for this! It is definitely the right country for you if you have already dealt with the culture anyway :)
