Enchanting Ceramic Art

Hey dear Hive Community, first of all I would like to wish you all a pleasant day and hope you are all well! In my new post, I would like to present a ceramic work of art and hope you can learn something new.

Here you can see a garden ball made of ceramic which has been painted in blue to match the water and in addition some ducks can be seen. I think the artist has put a lot of effort into creating a work that is unique and really extremely worth seeing and even if a small part is unfortunately damaged, this art comes into its own. It looks really stylish that the baby ducks follow the mother and also the color selection fits extremely well and those who are generally interested in the history of ceramic art will find a contribution from me here. From a symbolic point of view, ducks are associated with the element water and the symbolism is very diverse and it is also often associated with protection, clarity, strength or energy. It is often also associated with emotional balance as well as ying and yang and due to the adaptability and ability to glide over the water, the animal is often associated with ease.

In the mythology of different cultures, ducks are often associated with healing and revered as a magical being which has a connection to another world, but it plays a rather subordinate role in mythology. Many myths and legends revolve around these aquatic animals and it often plays a very important role and the ancient Celts connect ducks with femininity or supernatural powers and also the ability to be on land and water was very admired. Ducks can also be found in heraldry from time to time and can be seen in coats of arms from time to time and since the past, numerous artists have also chosen ducks as a motif and expressed it in many different works and this ceramic art is probably a good example of it.
