Benefits of Wildflower Seeds
Good day dear Hive Community, first of all I would like to wish you all a pleasant day and hope you are all well! In this post I would like to teach you something about nature and hope you can learn something new.
Here you can see some pictures of wildflower seeds that I would like to plant in the spring and wildflower seeds come mostly from native plants and play an important role, especially for insects. It is a perfect idea for anyone who wants to create their garden as insect friendly as possible and it can also be worthwhile to scatter the seeds wildly to support the biodiversity and when choosing you should make sure that you buy seeds that are non-invasive, otherwise they can be a danger to the native plants. The mixtures usually consist of different species such as this one of over 30 and it consists of annual and perennial plants which offer many advantages due to the variety and diverse properties and many of the species are becoming increasingly rare and it can be worthwhile to use every free area to plant a few seeds. I have given away some seeds in recent years and planted them myself and it is always a great pleasure to see how many insects show up there and I was able to find many species of butterflies, bees, beetles and more and the great interaction of the different colors is also remarkable. The best time to scatter the seeds is approximately from April and at the end of the season you can leave the plants so that the seeds spread over the wind or harvest them for the next year and also for birds it is often an important source of food in winter when other sources are missing. If the soil is not yet fertile enough, you should loosen it beforehand and you should scatter the seeds relatively wide and not plant them too close to each other and it is very important to water the soil during germination and optimal is a location that is in partial shade or sun. It can take a few weeks until the first plants show up, so you should be patient and there are different units to buy them and it is a good idea for anyone who wants to do something for nature or biodiversity and still has free space available where they can plant them and it is always a good gift to maybe motivate others to plant some.
Thank you very much for stopping by and I hope you could learn something new about nature! I captured pictures with my Camera Sony Alpha 6000 plus 55-210 mm lens!
These black seeds are also edible.

Thanks for your feedback :) I bought a whole bucket full right away, I think that many of them will find their place.
