Abstract looking Desert Rose
Good day dear Hiveans, first of all I would like to wish each of you a great day and hope that you are doing well in general! I took pictures of an interesting crystal formation today and would like to present them.
You can see here two different types of Desert Roses which are made of gypsum, baryte or sand. This bizarre look that is somewhat reminiscent of the blossom of a rose is really something very special and I would call it definitely a beautiful work of art of nature.
Desert roses are formed in hot and dry areas by evaporation of the moisture of the surfaces and the salts in the water crystallize and these sand roses are formed with the help of quartz sand. The most interesting found locations of Desert Roses are Mexico, USA, Spain or Africa, especially in the northern part of Africa.
This work of nature can take on different colors such as white, red, yellow or brown and are also a great decoration that only needs to be dusted off from time to time. In addition, it can provide a grounding effect and also from a spiritual point of view effects are said, it can help to stabilize the emotions and make creative and generally improve the stability of the body.

That is some really awesome gypsum! I've never seen it like that before! I used to go metal detecting with a buddy to find copper rosettes which were kind of similar but very hard to find. Very cool, thanks for sharing
