Roses in My Garden.
Another rose has bloomed in my garden. It’s very beautiful and smells wonderful—such a pleasant, sweet scent.
The rose itself is pink with a white base at the petal’s edge.
I take care of all my flowers, including this rose.
For care, I’ve chosen a special fertilizer for flowering plants. I also water the flowers twice a week. It’s hot right now, and in this weather, they like moist soil so that water reaches their roots. On a hot day, it’s best not to water the plant, since water can get on the leaves or flowers and the sun will scorch them. You should water at the base of the plant early in the morning or in the evening, when the heat has subsided. I also pull weeds. They take all the nutrients from the soil, so you need to get rid of them. If a weed is large, pull it out by hand, then you can hoe the area. Weeding is almost like watering. Oxygen reaches the roots, and the flower—or any plant—grows better. Don’t forget to water your plants, fertilize them, and pull weeds; then your flowers will delight you with their blooms.
