Rhododendron catawbiense.

Rhododendron catawbiense.
This isn't my garden anymore, nor are my flowers in my garden. We just went for a walk in the park, and there, in a flowerbed, were these beautiful flowers. Such a delicate, pleasant color.
Its name is certainly complicated. It grows large. And its flowers are lush and beautiful.
They come in a variety of colors, for example: pink (as in the photo), yellow, purple, red, and even white.
I think such large flowers are beautiful in any shade. I'd like to see different shades of this flower.
I need to read up on how difficult it is to care for. If it doesn't require much care and is not picky, then it can be planted in my garden. I'd love to have flowers like these at home.
This flower comes in dwarf varieties, and also in large, bush- or tree-like varieties. Probably something like a lilac.
This flower enjoys watering, but it should definitely not be overwatered; it doesn't like stagnant water.
It grows best in partial shade or shade. It doesn't like direct sunlight, as it's hard on the flower.
The flower prefers loose soil; it needs to be weeded to loosen it and allow oxygen to reach the soil. It also prefers humus-rich soil. So, caring for this flower isn't easy.
It requires careful selection of a suitable location, loose, humus-rich soil, and regular watering.
But it's beautiful, so the effort is worth it.IMG_3152.jpeg
