Praying mantis. Encounter on the street.
Just look who I met) it's a praying mantis π¦
We have a lot of them, but not as many as other insects, for example: ants π, grasshoppers π¦, flies πͺ°, bees π, caterpillars π and other insects.
Praying mantises grow large and are a pleasant green color.
Praying mantises love to watch, and I love to watch them. They have such big eyes π, but I'm afraid they might jump on me.
The wind makes the praying mantis seem to dance, moving smoothly from leg to leg)
A mantis got into my house, and I wanted to take it outside. But then I saw that it was helping me by eating the moths that had gotten into my kitchen. That's how the mantis destroyed the moths. I'm grateful to it for that. Now I don't know where it went; it probably jumped outside.
Cool Pictures! I love those little Aliens. I actually came across one too recently. I was surprised to find one here in middle Europe in the city. But I guess they are getting more comfortable here in the past years. I welcome them π.
Thanks for sharing
That's a cool photo you have there. I like it.
Thanks for showing it to me.
It's a shame I didn't have my camera with me (
Wow, what a beautiful praying mantis π¦! You captured its details so nicely π. Do they often come inside your house, or was this a rare visit?β
Thank you.
No, not often at home. They don't come into the house.
But you can see them quite often outside and in the trees.
Wow, mantises are so fascinating! I always feel like they look at you as if they understand everything haha. now you had your own little guardian. Your pictures are awesome πΈβ¨
Yes, they are mysterious. While I was photographing him, he kept coming up to me, and it was a little scary.
Thank you.
