Mushrooms after heavy rains.
Mushrooms after heavy rains.
It's been raining almost every day here lately. It's windy, and the wind whips up black clouds, then it rains. For example, today there was a strong wind, then the sky became covered with dark blue clouds. A thunderstorm began, followed by heavy rain.
Because it rains so much, mushrooms have appeared. 🍄 Mushrooms 🍄🟫 usually begin to grow after rains, especially in the fall. But even in the spring, after heavy rains, the ground gets thoroughly soaked, the mycelium gets wet, and the mushrooms begin to grow.
We were on a walk, exploring nature. We were just strolling, enjoying the wonderful air after the rain. Then I saw mushrooms. I don't know the name of this mushroom. Or rather, I forgot it. It's probably not edible.
I love mushroom picking. I like the taste of wild mushrooms.
Wild mushrooms are delicious fried, and they're also delicious canned. My favorite is the porcini mushroom. It's a type of mushroom that often grows in the forest. But this is a different variety, the one in the photo. I think it's delicious. We didn't go far in the meadow, nor did we go into the forest. But we could have gone and seen if there were any mushroom patches. It's a great time to pick mushrooms now, after the rain.
But it's best to pick mushrooms with people who know about them. For example, I don't know much about mushrooms. If you don't know which mushrooms to pick, you might find poisonous ones, which, of course, you shouldn't eat. It's best to take friends who know mushrooms well on a mushroom hunt.
But still, if you've picked mushrooms, it's best to boil them in a saucepan with an onion. Then drain the water and fry them in a frying pan.
Mushrooms also give a nice after-rainy feeling. Everything smells fresh after the rain, and mushrooms still smell fresh. It's especially nice in the forest. After the rain, it's fresh and perfect for picking lots of mushrooms.
