Mushroom šāš« champignon
After warm rains, we went mushroom picking šāš«
We gathered a lot of mushrooms. This is an unusual champignon mushroom, it's some kind of variety.
I read that it can cause upset stomach or something like that. But not for everyone. We found a couple of these mushrooms and decided to take a chance. We boiled them with onions. š§
After checking, the onions were light in color, which means the mushrooms are not poisonous.
We boiled the mushrooms twice, rinsing them after each time. Then we fried them in a pan.
It's not easy to cook mushrooms if you picked them yourself. Wild mushrooms are different from the ones we buy in the store. Wild mushrooms need to be boiled twice before cooking. If you don't know much about mushrooms, it's better not to pick them and just buy them in the store.
After boiling the mushrooms, we cut them up. We added sunflower oil to the pan, poured in the mushrooms, fried them, then chopped the onions and added them to the mushrooms, fried them some more, then salted and peppered them, and added spices to taste. It turned out very tasty. š¤¤
