Mallards 🦆 near the river.
I took a photo of the birds. There are many of them here. They did not fly away to warmer places for the winter. Some birds stay at home for the winter. Many birds do not like the cold and fly away to warmer places, then return home when the weather gets warmer.
Mallards 🦆 stayed to spend the winter on an unfrozen lake. They catch fish and wait for treats from people. You can feed them grains.
People often give them bread. You can't always feed birds bread. But it saves them from starvation.
Take care of the birds that stay at home in the cold. Now there is no grain in the fields and no fruit on the trees. So all that remains is fish and what people give them.
I like these birds, they are so beautiful. One species is gray, and the other has a green head. I like them all. I love taking photos like this.
