A beautiful rose has bloomed in the garden.
And flowers have already started blooming not only at my house but also at my summer cottage.
We bought the cottage and the property not too long ago. We planted the roses last year, and they’ve already started blooming. That made me very happy. I wasn’t expecting them to bloom this year. But they decided not to wait a whole year to get well established and to delight us right now. Roses really beautify the summer cottage grounds.
I wouldn’t call a rose a delicate flower—it’s more like a flower of passion. Their branches are thorny. That’s their way of protecting themselves. So if you want to prune a rose, you need to wear gloves, or the thorns will get you.
Although some roses do lend a touch of tenderness to the flower—delicate shades like cream, light pink, and peach. They seem more delicate. But the red rose is the flower of passion. It’s customary here for guys to bring red or other roses on a date. How could the world do without passion? Even the tango—the dance of passion—features a man holding a red rose in his mouth, a woman dressed in a red, form-fitting dress, and a man in a suit. At the end of the tango, the man takes the rose—which he’s been holding between his teeth—out of his mouth and presents it to his dance partner.
