Nightmare on 2 wheels (ESP-ENG)

Lamentablemente estuve un poco alejada de las pedaleadas por no encontrar un sillín adecuado para mí.
Unfortunately I was a bit away from pedaling because I couldn't find a suitable saddle for me.
Cuando compré mi bicicleta no estaba en las mejores condiciones, pero, estaba operativa que era lo que realmente necesitaba, había que cambiarle muchas cosas entre ellas el **SILLÍN** , el cual debía ser reemplazado con urgencia porque estaba muy deteriorado. Recuerdo que le coloqué en ese momento unas esponjas ajustándolas con una tela pero fue terrible, un verdadero calvario que terminó cuando una señora de una tienda de bicicletas me recomendó el sillín que tuve hasta el año pasado, ya no le podía pedir más al pobre, lo dió todo y volví al terror, el cojín había estado usando desde entonces no me permitía andar más de 20 minutos.
When I bought my bike it was not in the best conditions, but, it was operative that it was what I really needed, many things had to be changed among them the **SADDLE** , which had to be replaced urgently because it was very deteriorated. I remember that I put some sponges on it at that time adjusting them with a cloth but it was terrible, a real ordeal that ended when a lady from a bike store recommended me the saddle that I had until last year, I could not ask more from the poor thing, it gave everything and I went back to terror, the cushion I had been using since then did not allow me to ride more than 20 minutes.

Estuve buscando en las distintas tiendas de la ciudad pero no hay un especialista en la materia, saben sobre toda la parte mecánica pero no sobre el sillín 🥺, tienen diferentes modelos pero no el conocimiento ni las herramientas para tomar las medidas para poder acertar sobre el sillín y la señora que tenía una vida de experiencia ya no está, por lo que me tocó investigar y ver videos en Youtube, entendí la importancia de tomar medidas de los isquiotibiales y probar los asientos porque hay diversos lugares en los que pueden maltratar pues cada anatomía es diferente y es por ello que hay variedad de sillines.
I was looking in the different stores in the city but there is no specialist in the matter, they know about all the mechanical part but not about the saddle 🥺, they have different models but not the knowledge nor the tools to take the measures to be able to get it right about the saddle and the lady who had a lifetime of experience is no longer there, so I had to investigate and watch videos on Youtube, I understood the importance of taking measurements of the hamstrings and try the seats because there are different places where they can mistreat because each anatomy is different and that is why there is a variety of saddles.
En una de las tiendas me permitieron probar 2 sillines que se parecían mucho al que me resultó pero, no tuve resultaron cómodos. Estuve pensando en ir a otra ciudad ciudad a buscar el sillín correcto, pues no me atrevía a comprarlo online y gracias a los estados de WhatsApp pude ver que en una tienda habían llegado nuevos modelos de asiento entre ellos había uno prometedor, el problema era que no me permitían probarlo, sin embargo, después de tanta investigación entendí que los asientos que se adaptan a mí deben tener ranura larga y el asiento que me gustó tenía esa característica.
In one of the stores I was allowed to try 2 saddles that looked very similar to the one I got, but they were not comfortable. I was thinking of going to another city to look for the right saddle, because I did not dare to buy it online and thanks to the WhatsApp statuses I could see that in a store had arrived new models of seat among them there was a promising one, the problem was that I was not allowed to try it, however, after so much research I understood that the seats that fit me must have long groove and the seat that I liked had that feature.

Llegué a la tienda y cuando ví el sillín supe que se acabaría la búsqueda, lo agarré sin pensar. El sr de la tienda me sugirió que cambiara el tubo del asiento pues la bicicleta tenía el original de ella y la base no era la adecuada para el asiento, lo que iba a ocasionar que se deformar, así que salí de a tienda con el tubo y el sillín nuevo 🥳.
I arrived at the store and when I saw the saddle I knew the search was over, I grabbed it without thinking. The guy at the store suggested me to change the seat tube as the bike had the original one and the base was not the right one for the seat, which was going to cause it to deform, so I left the store with the tube and the new saddle 🥳.
Mi esposo estaba nervioso y me decía que le diera un día para adaptarme (en caso de tener alguna incomodidad), que no me desesperara, pero le expliqué que si es el asiento correcto no debe molestar en ningún lugar y así fue, ahora podemos retomar nuestros paseos sin incomodidades ❤️.
My husband was nervous and told me to give it a day to adapt (in case I had any discomfort), not to despair, but I explained to him that if it is the right seat it should not bother me anywhere and it did, now we can resume our walks without discomfort ❤️.

That is terrible indeed. It was right about time to buy a new one then.
The saddle looks good! I hope it feels that way too. Buying a saddle is always difficult because you actually want to know how it feels after riding for two ours or more.
And you also have to adjust it correctly so it won't be too uncomfortable (they always are unconfortable in some way) during long rides.

Yes, it was urgent to change the seat! If I spent more than 20 minutes in it, it caused me too much trouble. Fortunately I found this seat, which has turned out to be very comfortable, although I have not yet covered more than 15 km, but I hope that soon (when I recover from the flu) I will be able to increase the distance.
