While I was at my parents' farm, I took the opportunity to harvest as many fruits, vegetables, and fresh produce as I could bring home. Right in front of their house, there are several fragrant pepper plants, which are among my favorites. They are incredibly versatile and can be used to season meat, fish, salads, and many other dishes, adding a delicious flavor to every meal.

The best part is being able to enjoy fresh food harvested straight from the farm without spending a single cent. Even so, I only picked the amount I know I'll actually use. My parents also share part of their harvest with other people and sell the surplus at the local farmers' market, so it's important to take only what we need and appreciate everything the land provides.

Enquanto estava na casa dos meus pais, aproveitei para colher o máximo de frutas, verduras e legumes que pude trazer comigo. Bem em frente à casa deles existem alguns pés de pimenta-de-cheiro, uma das minhas favoritas. Ela é muito versátil e pode ser utilizada no preparo de carnes, peixes, saladas e diversos outros pratos, deixando tudo ainda mais saboroso.

O melhor de tudo é poder consumir alimentos frescos, colhidos diretamente da roça e sem gastar nada. Mesmo assim, retirei apenas a quantidade que sei que vou consumir. Meus pais também compartilham parte da produção com outras pessoas e vendem o excedente na feira, por isso é importante colher apenas o necessário e valorizar tudo o que a terra oferece.
