Two ants, a bug and a strange caterpillar

This Sunday post will be my contribution to #sublimesunday initiated by @c0ff33a, #beautifulsunday initiated by @ace108, and my #sundayrandom where I share my random macro shots

Hey let's start the first Sunday of this month with some random macro shots from me. I think I took the photos of this random macro shots at a different time, and then in a different place. You know sometimes getting some macro shots live with a wild creature can be challenging, since they tend to be really skittish, and the chance of you to get many photos is limited.

I will start the random series today with a very small ant that I found on top of the wall in my own house. it was after the rain, and I noticed that this small ant was walking "slowly", when I directed my camera, I noticed that this little guy had something in its mouth, probably food to be brought back to the nest. But this slowly moving little ant moved to the other side of the wall, which made me lose the chance to take another photo of it.

Next is this winged small ant that I found on the papaya leaf back in my uncle's house. I only got one shot, since it flew away after I took this one, maybe afraid of me. Look how beautiful this creature is, with its blood-red color of the body.

Next I have this big stink bug I think, from the shape of its back and also the wing, but I could not confirm it very well. maybe I should have used a shorter extension tube so that I could have the whole body of this bug. I only got three photos of this bug, you can guess what happened after the third photo. : )

And the last photo for today's Sunday random is this strange caterpillar, and looking at it now, maybe it is the next stage of its life before it turns into a cocoon, and before finally changes into a moth or butterfly. Somehow the body of this caterpillar seemed to be pressed, and so rigid not like the usual caterpillar which looks so delicate.

The second one looks more interesting but the name stink makes me want to avoid it.
