Tortoise on black and white - Monomad challenge

This is my entry for the #monomad challenge hosted and curated by @monochromes

I managed to find another tortoise beetle in the rice filed, on the fence of the hut that my father has in the rice field.

I hardly see this guy around on the plant that we have, but lucky for me I found it again on the easiest place to photograph.

It was resting on the wedelia leaves that was growing on the fence, the wedelia is actually kind of a weed in the ricefield as they could grow so fast, and almost need no maintence and can grow so well. if they are not taken care of could be a competitor for the nutrients for the plant that we have.

But here is the funny thing, because despite the fact that tortoise beetle is a pest for the farmer, but if they would just munch on the wedelia plant, than they can be a great herbiside for the weed.

But still I need to monitor the beetle very much, as I don't want their population to explode and then it could be a problem for the crop that we have. They will eat the leaf fof the crop so fast, and that could be a big problem for us.
