Should I Called It Ugly?

So far I have never called any animal under my macro photography as ugly, but somehow this one might fall into this category. There should always be one exception right?

I am not sure what species it is, but I guess this is one of the flying ants. Just like the way you can see it in the photo from the front side below, its head, eyes, and mouth part make it so scary and a little bit ugly. What about you? what do you think?

I didn't find this ant, but rather the ant was finding me though my friend. It landed on my friends arm, and of course I took the chance to take some photos of this little insect.

I hope you like the photos, although a little ugly appearance of this insect might scared you of. : )

In a certain aspect you are right, the ant looks a bit strong, however the picture is very good, congratulations for your good capture.
