PhotoFeed Contest - Macro Photography - another Sagra Individual

I made a post about this beetle a few daya ago, and if you want to read about it you can head into my post here. But today this is about the other individual from the same species.

This little guy have a common name of frog-legged leaf beetle, and now I understand why. You guess it right, it is becuase of the size of its hind leg that look like the leg of the frog. Were they used as a jumping mechanism of this beetle, I highy daubted that because as you know this guy has wings, so it must be easier for it to just fly away. Hhhmmm with the exception of the grasshopper family, haahaha

I will use the first image of the series of these photo today as my entry for this week photofeed macro contest.

I love the shiny metalic color of this beetle, so beautiful. Here you can see the size of its hind legs. No wonder they called it frog-legged beetle isn't it?
