Majestic White Temple

Before the arrival of the owner, I spent my time visiting the temple near my workplace. I visited this temple and the beach more than 10 years ago when I first started to work in the area, and there has been a lot of things that has been changed in the area.

The temple was renovated, and it is huge now, with a lot of beautiful carvings and high gates, all of them made of limestone, hence it gets the white color of the temple.

You can see the beautiful of the temple from he first photo below, and I took it from quite far across the parking lot, and the temple seems to be so huge.

It is called Pura Geger Dalem Pemutih, the temple sitting on the limestone cliff with a beautiful white colored beach below it. Last time it was really hard to go down to the beach, but now there has been a lot of improvement, and there are stairs that have been built if you wish to visit the temple and also the beach below it. But unfortunately, I don't have the photos of the beach for now only the temple.

Here is the other gate of the temple, and you can see the man with a white cloth cleaning the area. Apparently, he is the temple priest, and was doing the regular cleaning of the temple.

Don't want to explore the place, and only want to enjoy the calmness of the temple area, you can sit and enjoy the sea breeze, in one of the Bale Bengong, with the beautiful ocean view in front.

Unfortunately, the temple is strictly for praying only, and you can't enter the temple for any other purpose than praying. as you can see with the sign below.
