I Presented Homona coffearia
hey everyone, how are you all doing? I hope you are all doing great and having a great Christmas yesterday. And you are all blessed in the beautiful festive season.
This is my first post on the community, and I hope that I will not break any rules or guidelines in the community.
I will present to you a month that I found in one of the plants in my backyard. At first, I was trying to get photos of a spider, and a fly, before realizing that there is this beautiful moth is sleeping peacefully in the tree.
This is Homona coffearia or tea tortrix or camellia tortrix, is a moth of the family Tortricidae. . And turns out they mostly live in Asia, and it is including my country and my island. : ) but this is the first time I actually find this guy.
It has a brown color body with several darker and softer patterns on its body, The antenna is quite long actually, with grey eyes. And the way it sits on the leaf makes it seems like it has no leg.
