This little jumping spider is so agile, jumping from one place to the other, It is a little bit hard for me to keep up with its movement to be able to take photographs, but somehow she senses my difficulties and stops at some point for a bit so it will be enough time for to get the shot.

I saw this small female Cosmophasis micans on the leaves of a tree. I tried to take some photos of the leaves but then she jumped into my hand.

you can get a sense of its size by comparing her body to the wrinkles of my wrist in the photo above and below.

And then it moved to the joints in my knuckle, perching a little bit before jumping again.

Now she was back jumping into the leaf.

I was having quite a hard time following her movement, jumping and hopping from one place to the other, and on top of that I was holding my camera with one hand since I use my left hand to hold the branch of the leaves.

Awesome pictures of the little fella! I love the jumping spiders. I haven't seen one in a bit but I'm trying to teach my son that these ones are friendly and we definitely don't kill them! Hopefully you are keeping this fella around haha

yes I did keep him alive, after the last photos i just let him free again. More interesting to photograph live animal than a dead one for me, is more fun and more frustration. hahah

Do you have any dangerous jumping spider there?

This tiny creature seemed to know what it is doing, jumping and hopping from one place to another. Good stunt :)

The last one looks like the spider intentionally posed for it, casually hanging out and looking over a branch. Some very clear captures. 👍👍

Great photos of that agile little spider. It is amazing that you could capture it - it is so tiny.
