Shadows Hunting at the Village

Yesterday, our whole family went back to visit my wife’s hometown. We’re still helping with the preparations for my brother-in-law’s wedding.

The quiet, unspoiled atmosphere of the village never fails to delight me. After dealing with work and the hustle and bustle of the city, the village atmosphere is truly a lifesaver for finding peace.

The village’s laid-back pace and cool air make it perfect for recharging. Yesterday, we went shopping for some supplies for the upcoming event. We went to the market to buy paper cups, trash bags, tissues, and other items.

After shopping, we stopped by a relative’s house for a bit. We caught up and exchanged stories since it had been quite a while since we’d last visited.

As for the decorations, the young people, along with my brother-in-law, have been making them themselves. Judging by the parts of the decorations they’ve already created, I’m sure my brother-in-law’s wedding will be a grand celebration.

My brother-in-law and his friends are used to making decorations for various events. They create decorations out of bamboo, palm leaves, and other materials.

While in the village, I made sure to take some shadow photos with my phone to enter the Shadow Hunter Contest hosted by @melinda010100 again. I did a little editing with the Snapseed app to adjust the lighting.
