That looks like such a fun weekend! Man, the last time I did pottery was way back in elementary school. Quick question though—does it really need to wait until September to be fired? Or is there some other reason for the long wait?

It really was a fun weekend!
Just like me! So many years ago. But not using the potter’s wheel.
Because the instructor is on vacation. His studio is closed during the month of August. And that’s where his kiln is. That’s why the wait is so long ;)
Ah, that makes total sense! Well, the instructor definitely deserves a good summer break! Pretty cool that we both shared that same elementary school nostalgia, too. Can't wait to see the finished pieces once September rolls around!
