Cyanthillium is a genus of flowering plants consisting of about 20 species found in Africa and Asia. Several species of this genus can be found growing in the wild, while others are grown commercially as ornamentals. And what I photographed is one of the popular Cyanthillium species in Indonesia, it grows in the wild and we often find it growing in meadows or roadsides.

Cyanthillium cinereum is included in the category of shrubs that can grow to a height of about 1 meter and has strong roots that help it grow stably. This plant is also a food source for several types of insects such as bees and ants. This beautiful flowering plant can grow in areas with tropical or subtropical climates.

Although not as well-known as ornamental flowers in general, Cyanthillium cinereum is one of the most beautiful and interesting flowers to look at. The color of the Cyanthillium cinereum flower is very beautiful, namely light purple with a small size, and is surrounded by a number of petals called sepals. After blooming this flower is more beautiful and enchanting. The flowers appear at the ends of the branches and are made up of many ribbon-like petals. Usually this beautiful flower appears in spring or summer.

Nice information about the flower and the pictures are really nice. These are found everywhere as well in my area as well. But I am surprised why the blossomed flower is looking of blueing color in my area these looks of white colour.
