Working at ease ESP/ENG

Hello Black and White community! These photos were taken some time ago. I have worked with many people, both for corporate, brand, and social sessions, and most of them are ordinary people who have not "studied" modeling or posing. However, this is not the case with Valentina, whom I have always considered since I met her, although we have worked together few times because people always have "their model" (who doesn't end up being a model), but that doesn't stop me from recommending her.

He trabajado con muchas personas, tanto para sesiones corporativas, marcas o sociales, y la mayoría de ellas son personas normales que no han "estudiado" el modelaje o la pose. Sin embargo, este no es el caso de Valentina, a quien siempre he tenido en cuenta desde que la conocí, aunque hemos trabajado juntos pocas veces porque las personas siempre tienen "su modelo" (que no termina siendo modelo), pero eso no me detiene a la hora de recomendarla.

I remember that she recently wrote to me to tell me about a bad experience she had with a photo session because the photographer was inexperienced (at least I think so). She felt pressured to perform poses she wasn't comfortable with, and beyond that, she felt very uncomfortable with the way he directed and observed her. From my perspective, I can completely understand her position, but I can also put myself in the shoes of this supposed photographer because I understand that it is not easy to have smooth communication with all models, and also, the photographer, being shielded behind the camera lens, can suggest or reinforce their intentions in a disrespectful way. It's very likely that he had good intentions, but this wasn't what Valentina felt, and she trusted herself more.

Recuerdo que hace poco me escribió para contarme una mala experiencia que tuvo con una sesión fotográfica, porque el fotógrafo era inexperto (al menos eso creo). Ella se sintió presionada a cumplir con unas poses con las que no se sentía cómoda, y más allá de eso, se sintió muy incómoda con la forma en que él la dirigía y observaba. Desde mi perspectiva, puedo entender completamente su postura, pero también puedo ponerme en los zapatos de este supuesto fotógrafo, porque entiendo que no es fácil tener una comunicación fluida con todos los modelos, y además, el fotógrafo, al estar resguardado detrás de la lente de la cámara, puede sugerir o reforzar de forma poco respetuosa cuáles son sus intenciones. Es muy probable que él haya tenido buenas intenciones, pero esto no fue lo que Valentina sintió y confío más en ella.

Valentina is a girl with whom I feel very comfortable directing because we both understand what we want and manage to achieve it as a team without it being torturous or awkward. She is a very talented girl, and I would love to work with her much more, but unfortunately, there have been few opportunities. I hope you like it.

Valentina es una chica con la que me siento muy bien al dirigirla, porque ambos entendemos lo que queremos y logramos conseguirlo en equipo sin que esto sea tortuoso o poco fluido. Es una chica con mucho talento y con la que me gustaría trabajar muchísimo más, pero lamentablemente han sido pocas las oportunidades. Espero que les guste.
