When Does Connection Happen? ESP/ENG

When does connection happen? With my partner, I knew from the very first moment that I wanted to be with her, and I find it intriguing to hear about others’ experiences. For me, it was a very distinctive certainty, and whenever I talk about it, I feel like I’m speaking a language that is somewhat subjective. Depending on who’s listening, it might seem more or less real.

¿Cuándo sucede la conexión? Con mi pareja, supe desde el primer momento que quería estar con ella y me causa curiosidad saber los sentires de los demás. Para mí, específicamente, fue una certeza muy distintiva y siempre que hablo sobre ello siento que hablo con un lenguaje que es poco objetivo y, dependiendo de quien escuche, parece más o menos real.

The couple from this wedding is one of the loveliest couples I've worked with. Every couple has their quirks, but with some, it’s more evident than with others. This couple had that gaze of love that I like so much and that I know is genuine and heartfelt. Even though I only heard a very brief part of their story, that’s where my curiosity kicks in—not because I want them to tell me their story, but because I would love to feel what they feel to know if it was the same thing I felt or how it developed for them.

La pareja de esta boda es una pareja que a mí me parece una de las más lindas con las que he trabajado. Todas las parejas tienen sus cosas, pero a unas se les nota más que a otras. Esta pareja tenía esa mirada de enamoramiento que me gusta tanto y que sé que es genuina y sentida. Y a pesar de que escuché algo muy breve de su historia, ahí es donde entra mi curiosidad, no porque quiera que me lo cuenten, sino porque me gustaría poder sentir eso que ellos sienten para saber si fue lo que sentí yo o cómo se desarrolló en ellos.

I really like science. I’m not a scientist, but science is something I enjoy learning about from time to time, and something I turn to, either to define my own concepts that science might not be able to explain or to help me with those it can. Love is always full of mysteries and riddles; it eludes science, and that’s where mysticism comes in to help us describe it with that magical language.

A mí me gusta mucho la ciencia. No soy científico, pero la ciencia es algo que me gusta, de lo cual me empapo a veces y a lo cual recurro otras, para definir mis propios conceptos que la ciencia no podría, o para ayudarme con los que la ciencia sí que puede. El amor siempre está lleno de muchas incógnitas y acertijos; es esquivo a la ciencia, y allí es donde el misticismo llega para ayudarnos a describirlo con ese lenguaje mágico.
