The Riddle of the Vintage Wedding Car ESP/ENG

I don’t know when the aspiration for the wedding car to be this type of vintage vehicle began, but for me as a photographer, it is always a challenge to take photos with it. To this day, I wouldn't say I feel completely effective using this resource; in truth, out of all the weddings I've had with these old cars, I can count on the fingers of one hand the instances where I was actually able to take photos that I liked.

No sé cuándo habrá empezado la aspiración de que el carro matrimonial sea este tipo de carro antiguo, pero para mí como fotógrafo siempre es un reto hacer fotos con él. A día de hoy, no diría que me siento completamente efectivo utilizando el recurso; a decir verdad, podría decir que de todas las bodas que he tenido con estos carros antiguos, puedo contar con los dedos de una mano los casos donde sí pude sacar fotos que me gustaron.

Wedding photography is a type of photography that, by its nature as an event to be documented, makes stopping to solve the riddle of the car more complex and difficult than it seems. Whenever I see photos from other photographers using this resource, I think, "Wow, what a great shot; how did they pull it off?" But when I am in front of it, I search through the ways I know to try to make it shine in a composition, and I don't feel entirely comfortable.

La fotografía de bodas es un tipo de fotografía que, por su naturaleza como evento a documentar, hace que detenerse a resolver el acertijo del carro sea más complejo y cuesta arriba de lo que parece. Siempre que veo fotos de otros fotógrafos utilizando el recurso pienso: "¡Wao, qué buena foto! ¿Cómo la habrán logrado?". Pero cuando estoy yo frente a él, busco por las vías que conozco para tratar de hacerlo relucir en una composición y no me siento del todo cómodo.

Don't misunderstand me; I like the photographs I've taken with these vehicles, and I think they are beautiful and photogenic, but they still have certain complications such as size, restrictions set by the drivers, the wedding itinerary, or the route they take to get to the reception, etc.

No me malinterpreten: las fotografías que he hecho con estos vehículos me gustan y creo que son bellos y fotogénicos, pero no dejan de tener ciertas complicaciones como el tamaño, las restricciones que ponen los conductores, el itinerario de la boda o la ruta que van a tomar para llegar a la recepción, etc.

I don't always achieve the photographs I would like, but I put in the maximum effort I can, and my clients have felt happy with the result.

No siempre logro las fotografías que me gustaría, pero me esfuerzo al máximo que puedo y mis clientes se han sentido contentos con el resultado.
