That Indefinable Something ESP/ENG

There are always people you see who have something you can't clearly define, but it's part of those qualities that leave you captivated, spellbound, without knowing what it is. That's what happened to me when I saw this girl. As soon as I saw her, I found something I really liked, but even now, I'm not so clear on what it was.

Siempre hay personas que uno observa que tienen algo que uno no puede definir con claridad qué es, pero es parte de esos algos que te quedas observando, anonadado, cautivado, sin saber qué es. Eso fue lo que me pasó cuando vi a esta chica; inmediatamente que la vi encontré algo que me gustó mucho, pero aún ahora no lo tengo tan claro.

I saw her calling someone at a party near the stand I had set up. I approached her and said, "Come here, I want to take your photo," and I got these shots that I really loved. They have that "something" of hers that I saw.

La vi llamando a alguien en una fiesta cerca del stand que tenía montado. La agarré y le dije: "Ven, quiero tomarte una foto", y saqué estas fotos que la verdad a mí me encantaron. Tienen ese algo de ella que vi.

Countless people, seeking to get close since I'm a photographer, tell me that photography is a moment, an instant that some people have the ability to see. And I think that in some occupations, these "instants" aren't so instantaneous or fleeting as the word might suggest. Rather, I believe there's something more that isn't about mere instants.

Son incontables las personas que me dicen, buscando cercanía ya que soy fotógrafo, las veces que personas me dicen que la fotografía es un momento, que es un instante que algunos tienen la capacidad de ver. Y creo que en algunas ocupaciones, estos instantes no son tan instantes ni tan fugaces como se puede entender de la palabra "instante", sino que creo que hay algo más que no tiene que ver con instantes.
