Navigating the Digital Presence: Photography for Social Media ESP/ENG

I took these photos for Carolina, a dermatologist who needed them to start managing her image on social media. This has become more common, and little by little, we all find ourselves needing to invest some of our energy into it.

Estas fotos las hice para Carolina, que es una dermatóloga y las necesitaba para empezar a gestionar su imagen en redes, algo que se ha vuelto más común y que poco a poco todos nos vemos en la necesidad de poner un poco de nuestras energías.

Social media is a phenomenon that many don't fully grasp, assuming it's as effective and immediate as the videos we consume through it. But the truth is, it's a medium for exposure that takes a lot of time and experimentation to truly leverage the benefits it offers.

Las redes sociales son un fenómeno que muchos no terminan de entender del todo, asumiendo que es igual de efectivo e inmediato que los videos que consumimos por ellas. Pero la verdad es que son un medio de exposición que toma muchísimo tiempo y experimentación para poder aprovechar los beneficios que ofrece.

For a long time, I supported a social media strategy focused on simply publishing what we did, and there's certainly a benefit to that. But nowadays, I believe it's not as simple as I used to think, and to generate a real impact, one must dedicate a tremendous amount of energy to it.

Por mucho tiempo yo estuve acompañando una estrategia de redes que estaba enfocada en publicar de forma sencilla lo que hacíamos y ciertamente hay un beneficio en eso, pero en la actualidad creo que no es tan simple como me lo planteaba antes y que para generar un verdadero impacto uno debe enfocar muchísima energía para ello.

I hope this client does well with her strategy, but certainly, as on many other occasions, I believe it's very probable that she will use these photos for some posts without any real transcendence because she won't be appropriately supported by a marketing team to help direct her image correctly.

Espero que a este cliente le vaya bien con su estrategia, pero ciertamente, como en muchas otras ocasiones, creo que es muy probable que use estas fotos para algunos posts sin ninguna trascendencia porque no los estará acompañando apropiadamente con un equipo de marketing que le ayude a dirigir su imagen de forma correcta.
