Evolving Through the Lens: A Look Back at My Photographic Journey

I've been looking through a lot of old photos lately, remembering people and also seeing a bit of my self-portrait from back then. I used to take tons of photos of everything I did, everyone I was with, and it's good to have those memories.

He estado revisando muchas fotos viejas últimamente, recordando a personas y también viendo un poco de mi retrato de ese entonces. Antes tomaba muchísimas fotos de todo lo que hacía, con quién estaba, y es bueno tener ese recuerdo.

My photography now is quite different. Currently, I don't photograph the same things with the same insatiable hunger to capture. What I photograph now is quite little, but what I do capture has stopped being just my memory to become something else.

Mi fotografía ahorita es bastante distinta y actualmente no fotografío las mismas cosas con la misma sed insaciable de capturar. Ahora es bastante poco lo que fotografío, pero eso que fotografío dejó de ser mi memoria para convertirse en otra cosa.

These are long exposure photographs where we stayed quite still to capture them. Cristhian was a friend with whom I took many photos and who accompanied me in my initial process of learning how to use a camera. Now that I see these photos, I like them, and it's nice to have this portrait of him and of both of us together.

Estas fotografías son unas fotografías en larga exposición donde nos quedamos bastante quietos para poderlas capturar. Cristhian fue un amigo con el que hice muchas fotos y que me acompañó en mi proceso inicial aprendiendo cómo usar una cámara. Estas fotos, ahora que las veo, me gustan y es lindo tener este retrato de él y de ambos juntos.
