Discovering Beauty in Sacred Spaces ESP/ENG

This Quinceañera was held at the Greek Club of Caracas. I had never had the chance to enter the chapel located there because I hadn't had a wedding there until now, but on this occasion, I was able to go in, which I really liked since I enjoy seeing churches very much.

Estos 15 años fueron en el Club Griego de Caracas. Nunca había tenido la chance de entrar en la capilla que allí se encuentra porque no he tenido una boda hasta ahora allí, pero en esta ocasión pude entrar, cosa que me gustó mucho ya que me gusta mucho ver iglesias.

My daughters are already developing their own "criteria," and recently, one of them told me, "Dad, the church is boring, and so are Christians." It made me laugh a lot because I'm not very religious, but she hasn't seen the interesting things about churches yet—the architecture is one of them, for example, and it is something I really like.

Mis hijas ya están desarrollando sus propios "criterios" y hace poco una de ellas me dijo: "Papá, la iglesia es aburrida y los cristianos también". Me dio mucha risa porque no soy muy religioso, pero ella todavía no ha visto las cosas interesantes de las iglesias. La arquitectura es una de ellas, por ejemplo, y es algo que me gusta mucho a mí.

Whenever I can visit a new church, I enjoy it, and I hope to be able to transmit my taste for it to my daughters. But it's not something that will happen overnight; I just have faith that sooner or later, we can enjoy it together.

Siempre que puedo conocer una iglesia nueva lo disfruto, y espero poderles transmitir mi gusto por ello a mis hijas, pero no es algo que ocurrirá poco a poco. Pero tengo fe de que tarde o temprano podamos disfrutar de ello juntos.
