A Wedding Full of Connections ESP/ENG

I had a great time at this wedding. It was one of the first weddings where I was involved from the initial meeting, which was obviously positive, and where I really connected with the couple. I was nervous for that meeting because I wasn’t used to handling that phase; someone else used to manage that part of the process. But after they left the country, I had to start doing it myself.

En esta boda la pasé muy bien. Es de las primeras bodas donde estuve involucrado desde la reunión inicial, que obviamente fue positiva, y donde empatizé bastante con los novios. Para esa reunión estaba nervioso porque no acostumbraba a encargarme de esa fase; esa parte de la gestión la llevaba otra persona. Pero, debido a que se fue del país, tuve que empezar a hacerlo yo.

The wedding photography world is heavily driven by personal referrals, and this wedding was a great example of that. This was the third client I got from the same group of friends, and it’s reassuring to know that I must have done a good job from the start—otherwise, they wouldn’t have recommended me or even considered me.

El mundo de la fotografía de bodas suele manejarse mucho por referencias personales, y esta boda es un buen ejemplo de ello. Es el tercer cliente que me llega de ese mismo grupo de amigos, y es bueno saber que, desde un principio, hice un buen trabajo porque, si no, no me recomendarían o siquiera me tomarían en cuenta.

On top of that, it was a pleasant surprise to discover that the bride is the sister of a friend of my partner, which made the wedding even more enjoyable than I expected. I believe it’s important to feel good about what you do and how you do it, and wedding photography gives me many things that I genuinely enjoy.

Aparte de ello, fue bastante agradable descubrir que la novia es hermana de una amiga de mi pareja, así que la boda fue incluso más amena de lo que esperaba. Creo que es importante sentirse bien con lo que uno hace y cómo lo hace, y a mí la fotografía de bodas me da muchas cosas que me gustan y agradan.
