The tricks I used to set free the fort Nakayama. Nice & Easy.
Ishikawa sensei was missing from his dojo, and Sakai got worried. He started to search everywhere. Sensei was hiding in his living room, unharmed but frightened.
At first, he couldn’t recognize Jin Sakai but they spoke through and Ishikawa remembered him. He was the boy whom he rejected as his student.
Jin explained everything to him. Also, his desire to set free his uncle. "It will be easy if you are with me sensei," Jin said. But Sensei was worried. His student, a skilled archer, was missing. There was a possibility that Mongolians had captured her. Jin assured him that he will help to rescue his student.
They left the room in search of the student. They had to rescue her at any cost. Through words, Jin learned that the student's name was Tomoye, a girl who had no clan.
On their way, they suddenly confronted the Mongolian soldiers. They were outnumbered but not skilled like two of them.
Jin Sakai challenged the Mongols to a standoff. The soldier who stepped forward was unlucky. With one deadly strike, Jin cut off his head. From behind, Ishikawa Sensei helped with his bow, shooting down enemies one by one with perfect aim. Jin moved quickly, using his samurai skills to slash through the Mongolian soldiers. He struck with precision, cutting their throats and taking them down fast. The teamwork between Jin and Ishikawa was strong. While Jin fought up close, Ishikawa attacked from a distance. Together, they defeated many enemies, showing their skill and power in battle.
The Mongolian soldiers were camping there. Jin and Ishikawa started to investigate the camp. They found a Quiver full of arrows. "Tomoye was here."
They had a feeling that Tomoye could be captive in the nearest dwelling place of the Mongolian soldier. But that place was surrounded by the Mongols' best archers, fighters and swordsmen. "We cannot win a direct battle with them," said Ishikawa. "We will have to defeat them with strategy, not physical strength."
He decided to teach Jin how to use the bow. Together, they will be able to kill the enemies far from their reach. Sakai was a quick learner. Within no time, he learns how to kill an enemy with an arrow.
They reached the targeted place called Nakayama. It was dark all around. The door of the camp was closed and heavily guarded. It's hard to break through such security and get inside. So the plan was to wait until it's morning. Because only then, there won't be any guards and The doors will be open.
As soon as the sun rose, they opened the gate. It was the perfect moment to attack them. Sakai and Ishikawa started to kill them one by one. But they were also giving tough answers. About 10-12 archers were shooting arrows at us like rain.
It was getting hard to fight against them. They were outnumbered, so Jin was getting hurt again and again. But he kept patient and slowly killed all the enemies one by one.
Now it was time to get inside the base. As he moved to the front door, a huge man attacked Sakai.
Jin defeated the big man, but he was trapped. Archers on the roof surrounded him. He had no way to escape. Suddenly, an arrow hit him, and he fell to the ground. The archers were ready to finish him off at any moment.
I failed the first time. The mission was very hard because there were too many enemies. The archers made it even worse. They were on the roof, shooting at Jin without any trouble. He had no good way to stop them and got hit badly. It was really tough to fight and survive.
The next time, I used a trick. Instead of going the same way, I entered from the back side of the camp. This made all the swordsmen and soldiers come to fight on the back side. But this side had shelter, so the archers couldn’t hit Jin from the roof. Without their arrows, Jin was much safer. He could focus on fighting the soldiers without worrying about getting shot. One by one, Jin took them down. This plan made the battle easier, and Jin had no trouble dealing with them.
Those archers were still alive on the roof. That is not a problem but the problem is that my arrows were finished. So what I did was, went to the front door and there was a ladder that could be used to climp up on the roof. Sakai climb up and finished the rest of the enemy.
The captives were murdered. After observation, they understood that the captives were killed by arrows. They started to search for Tomoye. While investigating rooms, they found some handwriting of Tomoye where she explained skilled archery systems. Also, they found Tomoye's dress hanging on the wall.

They also found some arrows used for training, which created suspense. At that moment, they found a survivor among the captives. Ishikawa sensei asked him about Tomoye. But what he said shocked Ishikawa. Tomoye was the girl who killed all the captives.
Tomoye is one of them now.
- That's all for today guys. Thank you for reading ❤
What an intense mission! I loved how you described the tactical switch by entering from the back side of the camp.
Thank you so much. Yes, that tactic worked very well for me. I failed four times while trying to enter from the front door because those archers were very annoying.
I totally get that. Sometimes sneaky routes save a lot of frustration. Well done adapting.
