Recorrido mañanero con mi pequeño || Morning walk with my little one

Hola amigos de Hive asiduos a la comunidad Daily Blog, hoy les vengo a contar sobre un recorrido mañanero, que ya se ha vuelto cotidiano en nuestra rutina diaria. Como mi hijo se encuentra de vacaciones, me lo traigo al consultorio. En este trayecto pasamos por algunos lugares de mi localidad que, aunque uno los puede ver todos los días, igualmente llaman la atención.

Por suerte, cada día es diferente, pero igual de hermoso, eso sí. La gente con la que uno se encuentra no es la misma y la actividad frecuente de este horario de la mañana es algo mágico. El sol apenas tiende a salir, pero ya las personas están transitando hacia sus centros de trabajo. Así como nosotros, que comenzamos otro día de recorrido al consultorio.

Todo comienza con la vista increíble que ofrece el parque Independencia, que lo que dan deseos es de quedarse allí un rato a disfrutar de la brisa mañanera. De este lugar hemos estado hablando en otras ocasiones, como deja ver a solo unos pasos de su área, la imponente torre de la sucursal pinareña de Etecsa, la empresa de telecomunicaciones en Cuba.

Este es un pequeño edificio de oficinas, que se puede destacar a lo lejos por su color azul, característico de la empresa. Más adelante podemos ver el comienzo de lo que sería la carretera a Luis Lazo, hacia donde nos dirigimos todas las mañanas y en donde vivimos, allá por el kilómetro cinco. Pero como nos estamos quedando, en estos meses de vacaciones por la ciudad, pues damos el viaje, que, como decía, comienza en la Alameda.

Donde se encuentra la clínica estomatológica, entre otros centros estudiantiles como el círculo infantil y un preuniversitario frente con frente a la parada. La Alameda es un lugar muy concurrido, ya que allí se encuentra una parda de ómnibus, donde las personas que viajan a Luis Lazo embarcan algún transporte. Últimamente, no se ha visto más ningún autobús de pasajeros, acá les llamamos Guaguas.

Por ese motivo, las personas que viajan para este destino, se han visto obligadas a utilizar vehículos particulares para transportarse, incluso para ir a trabajar. Esto se ha generalizado y no sucede aquí nada más. La orden del día es montarse en un taxi moto, de lo contrario te salen raíces en la parada.

Más adelante está el Banco Popular de Ahorro y su masiva comunidad de personal a las afueras de su instalación. Para hacer sus gestiones personales, con algo de suerte, si es que hay corriente eléctrica para que la banca, pueda prestar el servicio a sus clientes. Antes de seguir nuestro recorrido hacia el consultorio, cruzamos la calle para pasar por el policlínico Raúl Sánchez y entregar las hojas de cargo, en el departamento de estadística.

Luego, entregadas las hojas de cargo, cortamos un poco de camino por las entre calles, hasta llegar al mercado de la Alameda. Un poco más adelante nos encontramos a los trabajadores de comunales, que se encontraban con sus equipos pesados recogiendo la basura que, por días, se ha estado acumulando en las calles. Algo que, desde hace un tiempo para acá, se ha vuelto una de las imágenes más tristes de la ciudad.

No hay un rincón de las calles, en que las personas no viertan de todo tipo de desechos de sus hogares. Y si culpables son las organizaciones encargadas de recoger la basura, más culpables son las mismas personas que, sin pensar en su salud, inconscientemente fabrican los micro vertederos.

Para que después proliferen cualquier tipo de vectores transmisores de enfermedades. Como, por ejemplo, uno que está en estos momentos ocupando la salud de muchas personas, el mosquito portador del dengue. Es poco probable que uno, mientras va caminando y viendo estos panoramas, poco saludables, pues no piense en ello.

Finalmente, llegamos al consultorio, unos minutos después hacia su entrada, la doctora, para comenzar otro día de servicio a la comunidad. Hoy, por ejemplo, nos dedicamos a visitar a algunos abuelos de los que, como de costumbre, llevamos siempre de la mano en nuestra planificación, para mejorar su calidad de vida.

Ellos siempre agradecen los cuidados que les ofrecemos de la mejor manera que saben, siempre con una sonrisa. Llegadas las doce del día, nos despedimos del consultorio por unas horas, para ir a casa a almorzar regresando por el mismo trayecto, que una y otra vez, cada día tiene nuevas historias que ofrecer.

Luckily, every day is different, but just as beautiful. The people you meet are not the same, and the hustle and bustle of this time of day is magical. The sun is just rising, but people are already on their way to work. Just like us, as we begin another day of traveling to the office.

It all starts with the incredible view from Independencia Park, which makes you want to stay there for a while and enjoy the morning breeze. We have talked about this place on other occasions, as it is just a few steps away from the imposing tower of the Pinar del Río branch of Etecsa, the telecommunications company in Cuba.

This is a small office building, which can be seen from afar thanks to its blue color, characteristic of the company. Further on, we can see the beginning of what would be the road to Luis Lazo, where we go every morning and where we live, back at kilometer five. But since we are staying in the city during these vacation months, we make the trip, which, as I said, begins at the Alameda.

This is where the dental clinic is located, among other student centers such as the children's club and a pre-university center opposite the bus stop. The Alameda is a very busy place, as there is a bus stop there where people traveling to Luis Lazo board some form of transport. Lately, no passenger buses, which we call Guaguas here, have been seen.

For this reason, people traveling to this destination have been forced to use private vehicles for transportation, even to go to work. This has become widespread and is not unique to this area. The order of the day is to take a motorcycle taxi, otherwise you will be stuck at the bus stop.

Further on is the Banco Popular de Ahorro and its large community of employees outside its premises. To do your personal business, with a bit of luck, if there is electricity so that the bank can provide service to its customers. A little further on, we come across the municipal workers, who are using their heavy equipment to collect the rubbish that has been accumulating in the streets for days. This has become one of the saddest images of the city in recent times.

There is no corner of the streets where people do not dump all kinds of waste from their homes. And if the organizations in charge of collecting garbage are to blame, even more to blame are the people themselves who, without thinking about their health, unconsciously create micro-landfills.

This then leads to the proliferation of all kinds of disease-carrying vectors. One example is the mosquito that carries dengue fever, which is currently affecting the health of many people. It is unlikely that anyone walking by and seeing these unhealthy scenes would not think about it.

Finally, we arrive at the clinic, and a few minutes later, the doctor arrives at the entrance to begin another day of service to the community. Today, for example, we are visiting some elderly people who, as usual, we always take into account in our planning to improve their quality of life.

They always appreciate the care we offer them in the best way they know how, always with a smile. At noon, we say goodbye to the office for a few hours to go home for lunch, returning by the same route, which, day after day, has new stories to offer.
