In the city of Maracay, capital of the state of Aragua, Venezuela, also known as the garden city, I want to share an interesting place, besides being an architectural work called Concha Acustica which was created in the 70s, it is an ideal structure for artistic presentations such as dance, music and theater. It was recently remodeled creating a pleasant environment where national and international artists currently perform.

En la cuidad de maracay capital del estado Aragua, Venezuela tambien conocida como la ciudad jardin, quiero compartirles un lugar interesante, ademas de ser un obra arquitectonica llamada Concha Acustica la cual fue creada en los años 70 es una estructura ideal para las presentaciones artistica tales como la danza, musica y teatro. Recientemente fue remodelada creando un ambiente agradable donde en la actualidad se presentan artistas nacionales e internacional.

To get here, you can access the regional highway from the center by trunk 1 and take the detour to Av. Aragua until you reach the obelisk vial, there we turn left towards Av Bolivar in 2.5 km, you cross the right towards Av Fuerzas Aereas in 800mts turn to av andres bello as shown on the map courtesy of googlemaps.

Para llegara hasta aqui se accede por la autopista reginal del centro por la troncal 1 y tomamos el desvio hacia la Av. Aragua hasta llegar a la redoma del obelisco alli giramos a la izquierda con direcion a la av bolivar en 2,5Km cruzas a la derecha hacia Av Fuerzas Aereas en 800mts se gira a av andres bello tal como se muestra en el mapa cortecia de googlemaps.

THE ACOUSTIC SHELL

LA CONCHA ACUSTICA

Upon entering we can see the immense acoustic shell made with concrete, it has sound qualities that amplify the sounds, ideal for the presentation of an Orchestra or Symphonic Band. Currently on weekends there are presentations of dance groups, salsa, merengue, rock bands.

al ingresar podemos ver la inmesa concha acustica hecha con contreto la misma posee cualidades sonoras que amplifican los sonidos ideal para presentacion de una Orquesta o Banda Sinfonica. Actulmente los fines de semana se realizan presentaciones de agrupaciones bailables, salsa, merengue, bandas de rock.

It also has stands where we can appreciate the different events that take place here.

ademas esta cuenta con tribunas donde podemos apreciar los diferentes eventos que se realizan aqui.

When taking a tour of the surroundings we can appreciate several works of art that beautify these spaces, I am not sharing the name of each work and its art, for none of them have identification, it seemed fair to me to give merit to each artist who left their work here.

al dar un recorrido por los alrededores podemos apreciar varias obras de artes que enbellecen estos espacios, no les comparto el nombre de cada obra y sus artista por ninguna posee identificacion me fuera parecido justo darle el merito a cada artista quedejo su obra aqui.

In addition, in these spaces it has an acoustic minishell for small presentations or for children.

Ademas en estos espacio cuenta con una miniconcha acustica como para presentaciones pequeñas o para niños.

Also on one of the walls of the place I found this aerial photo where we can appreciate all the spaces that make up the acoustic shell, if we look closely from above all the areas have an octagon shape.

tambien en una de las paredes del lugar me encotre esta foto aerea donde podemos apreciar todos los espacios que conforman la concha acustica, si nos fijamos bien desde arriba todas las area tiene forma de Octagono.
