I continue my adventure in Grim Dawn from where I left off last time. My head full of incoherent thoughts about traction and conspiracies. Promises I may not be able to keep and lives that depend on my arrival. All of it haunts me step by step. But it's not time to give up, I have to get out of here and find out if this was a trap of the blood demons or indeed the head of the witches' coven betrayed me.

Continuo mi aventura en Grim Dawn desde donde me quedé la vez anterior. Mi cabeza llena de pensamientos incoherentes sobre tracción y conspiraciones. Promesas que quizás no pueda cumplir y vidas que dependen de mi llegada. Todo eso me atormenta paso a paso. Pero no es tiempo de rendirme, he de salir de aquí y averiguar si esto fue una trampa de los demonios de sangre o efectivamente la jefa del aquelarre de brujas me traicionó.

The deeper I go into this hellish labyrinth, the more I lose hope of finding the exit. But I have a purpose and I have to get to the capital. Who knows what might happen if I take too long to get out of here.

I am slowly knocking down all those who cross my path until I reach a more open area. In this ara there is only one exit and the entrance just closed behind me. Little by little everything looked more and more like an ambush. And so it was. From one moment to another appears flying a superior demon called "Ekket'Zul Progenitor of darkness".

Mientras más me adentro en este laberinto infernal, más pierdo las esperanzas de encontrar la salida. Pero tengo un propósito y llegar a la capital. Quien sabe qué pueda suceder si me demoro mucho en salir de aquí.

Voy abatiendo poco a poco a todos los que se cruzan en mi camino hasta llegar a un área más abierta. En esta área solo hay una salida y la entrada que se acaba de cerrar tras mi paso. Poco a poco todo tenía más pinta de que fuese una emboscada. Y así fue. De un momento a otro aparece volando un demonio superior llamado “Ekket’Zul Progenitor de la oscuridad”.

As I pose for a photo next to the body of the defeated demon, I hear the characteristic sound of a dimensional scream opening. Very happy, I start looking around the room until I find it and throw myself into it. Finally I can finally get out, finally I will reach the capital.

Those thoughts would leave my mind immediately upon discovering that I was at the starting point. But this time there was something strange. There was no longer a single entrance crack, there were two. One of the cracks led me to limbo and the other led me back to the room where I defeated the demon.

I had few options left. I could go to the coven and eliminate the witches for betraying me or I could go back to the previous place and see if the exit of the room had been unlocked. I decided on the second option, as I still had hopes that the witches had not betrayed me.

Esos pensamientos abandonarían mi mente inmediatamente al descubrir que estaba en el punto de partida. Pero esta vez había algo raro. Ya no había una sola grieta de entrada, había dos. Una de las grietas me llevaba a limbo y la otra me llevaba devuelta a la sala donde derrote al demonio.

To my surprise, the huge stone door that prevented my passage had been broken, showing me a passage that went even deeper into the infernal domains. Luckily I did not decide to kill the witches, as it seems that it was all a trap of the demons and not a betrayal by them.

I continue my way with a little more hope and with an immense longing to see the sunlight again. The path is easy, low presence of enemies and almost all the time in a straight line without forks. To my luck, after passing under a huge and creepy skeleton, I manage to find the exit.

Continuo mi camino con un poco más de esperanza y con una añoranza inmensa de ver otra vez la luz del sol. El camino se me hace fácil, baja presencia de enemigos y casi todo el tiempo en línea recta sin bifurcaciones. Para mi suerte, luego de pasar por debajo de un enorme y espeluznante esqueleto, logro encontrar la salida.

When I finally appear on the surface, I check on the map that I am in the right place. I had indeed been able to cross beyond the radioactive field. I was very close to the capital but in a blood cult lair.

Cuando por fin aparezco en la superficie, compruebo en el mapa de que estoy en el lugar correcto. Efectivamente, había podido cruzar más allá del campo radioactivo. Me encontraba muy cerca de la capital pero en una guarida del culto de sangre.

If I think about it carefully, it is logical that I would appear in a place, so I moved around the map using shouts that the summoners of this cult open. Apparently these cultists were so far from their headquarters that they didn't even know about what I had done to them in the necropolis. And since I am a good Samaritan, I made it my mission to explain everything to them with a pistol.

Si lo pienso detenidamente tiene lógica de que apareciese en un lugar, así pues, me desplacé por el mapa usando gritas que abren los invocadores de este culto. Al parecer estos sectarios estaban tan lejos de su sede que no sabían aún de o que yo les había hecho en la necrópolis. Y como yo soy buen samaritano, me di a la misión de explicárselo todo a golpe de pistola.

After a quick conversation with the deceased cult members, I continue my journey and encounter these apocalyptic landscapes filled with green corruption. Fields and fields of ethereal radiation are seen from afar.

Luego de una rápida conversación con los difuntos miembros del culto, continuo mi viaje y me encuentro con estos paisajes apocalípticos llenos de la corrupción verde. Campos y campos de radiación etérea se ven desde la lejanía.

As I rest and watch the sunset I momentarily say goodbye to this adventure keeping in mind that the next time may be the last. I hope to be able to arrive in time to help the survivors...

Mientras descanso y observo el atardecer me despido momentáneamente de esta aventura teniendo presente que la próxima vez puede que sea la última. Espero poder llegar a tiempo para ayudar a los supervivientes…
