Cienfuegos, Cuba 🚍

Today I share with you a #trip a bit strange and at the same time quite eventful. I say strange because it was a #trip for work and not for pleasure, which I rarely do. My destination was the province of Cienfuegos, which is popularly known as "The Pearl of the South" due to its beauty and charm.

El día de hoy les comparto un #viaje un poco extraño y a la vez bastante accidentado. Digo extraño porque fue un #viaje por motivos de trabajo y no por placer, lo cual no acostumbro a hacer casi nunca. Mi destino fue la provincia de Cienfuegos, la cual es popularmente conocida como “La Perla del Sur” debido a su belleza y encanto.

This province is located on the southern coast of Cuba and its main city, which is also called Cienfuegos, is considered a #Heritage of Humanity by UNESCO. Besides that, Cienfuegos is famous within the national territory for its neoclassical architecture and its beautiful bay, which is one of the largest and most visited in the country.

Esta provincia está ubicada en la costa sur de Cuba y su ciudad principal, que también se llama Cienfuegos, es considerada #patrimonio de la humanidad por la UNESCO. Además de eso, Cienfuegos es famosa dentro del territorio nacional por su arquitectura neoclásica y su hermosa bahía, que es una de las de mayor extensión y visitadas del país.

When I say that the #trip was a little bumpy, I don't mean at any time that we had an accident or anything like that. What happened was that on the way back we boarded the wrong bus and ended up in a terminal in Villa Clara where we had to spend the night.

Cuando me refiero a que el #viaje fue un poco accidentado, no quiero decir en ningún momento que tuvimos un accidente ni nada por el estilo. Lo que pasó fue que al retorno abordamos en el ómnibus equivocado y terminamos en una terminal de Villa Clara donde tuvimos que pasar la noche.
