Wake Up Bat!
Hello passionate photographers. A tragic event occupies the series of captures of this publication. A roar frightened all of us who were inside the little house made of boards. A long time ago lightning struck a beautiful coconut tree that had been in the patio for a long time. Of course the tree dried up and lost all its branches and only the trunk was left. That was the roar we felt, it fell all of a sudden. We went quickly to see what had happened and we found a big family, I mean a huge family of bats living inside the trunk, which apparently was already completely rotten. Of course, some baby bats and others not so much did not survive the fall, but most of them did. They quickly began to move and look for branches of the coffee plantation and began to climb up looking for shelter.
It seemed, and I am convinced that they were, that they were communicating with each other and some of them were even helping each other to recover from the tragic event. Seeing your house shattered in an instant is not an easy thing to assimilate. But in the end, nature, always wise, finds a viable and sustainable solution. Bats look like dangerous animals but they are not, if you don't bother them they are friendly. I hope they have found a place to start a safe home again. I share with you here these pictures of pure survival instinct, see you!

Hello @eddyss friend! They are fantastic creatures, I'm sorry they lost their refuge ☹️, I also hope most of them soon find a new home... These are very good photos, it's rare to have the opportunity to photograph bats with enough light... Thanks for sharing this here and have a great week!

Thanks friend @jlinaresp, yes I'm sure they immediately found some suitable tree and got together like the big family they are. Despite the misfortune it was a good opportunity to see them during the day. Nice week to you too 👍.
