Sand, Sea and Sun || Monomad

Hello lovers of black and white, and of the sea, well of the beaches. It is a challenge for me to take pictures of the beach in black and white, the saturations of the sand and the sea are very equal, especially when the beach is a spectacular aqua. But it's worth a try and better at sunrise or sunset to improve the contrasts and reflections. There is only one thing I miss about these photos, the color, those shades of blue-aqua and almost white sand, natural relaxants by default, and also the smell, that indescribable smell of sea that gets into every pore of your body. I would like to live very close to the sea, although I respect it and I am a little afraid of the depths, especially when it gets deep and acquires that prussian blue tone. For the time being I enjoy the beach in general, especially Varadero, an unparalleled jewel in the middle of the Caribbean. Whenever we can, that's where we go, destination #1 when it comes to vacations.

We love to walk long distances along the beach, take a mid-morning and after 4pm dip. In summer the sun is too intense and between 11am and 4pm there is no sunscreen to resist, it's like being crushed by a huge block of concrete. For those hours there is beer, hahaha, let's cool off! And sodas for the underage ones..... 😂. With these shots I want to make entry to the daily #monomad challenge. In these shots I practiced the operation of the camera in manual mode completely, I confess that I am not a specialist in that, I usually use 1 single element manually in the camera. Hola amantes del blanco y negro, y del mar, bueno de las playas. Es un reto para mí hacer fotografías de la playa en blanco y negro, se igualan mucho las saturaciones de la arena y el mar, sobre todo cuando la playa es de un aqua espectacular. Pero vale la pena intentarlo y mejor al amanecer o al atardecer que mejoran los contrastes y reflejos. Solo hay algo que extraño de estas fotos, el color, esos tonos de azul-aqua y la arena casi blanca, relajantes naturales por defecto, y además el olor, ese indescriptible olor a mar que se mete en cada poro de tu cuerpo. Como me gustaría vivir muy cerca del mar, aunque lo respeto y le tengo un poco de temor a las profundidades, sobre todo cuando se hace profundo y va adquiriendo ese tono azul prusia ¡Wao, que miedo! Por lo pronto disfruto mucho de la playa en general, sobre todo de Varadero, una joya sin igual en medio del caribe. Cada vez que podemos es allí donde vamos, destino #1 cuando de vacaciones se trata. Nos encanta caminar grandes distancias por la orilla de la playa, darnos un chapuzón a media mañana y después de las 4 de la tarde. En verano el sol es demasiado intenso y entre las 11am y 4pm no hay protector solar que resista, es como si te aplastara un inmenso bloque de hormigón. Para esos horarios está la cerveza, jajaja, ¡A refrescar! Y gaseosas para los menores de edad... 😂. Con estas tomas quiero hacer entrada al reto diario #monomad. En estas tomas practiqué el funcionamiento de la cámara en modo manual totalmente, confieso que no soy especialista en eso, por lo general uso 1 solo elemento de forma manual en la cámara.
