Old Things || Monomad

A big hello to lovers of black and white and photography in general. The selection I have made today does not have many things in common, except that everything photographed is old. Although in a country that in addition to other qualifiers is known for its rolling museum almost everything that is photographed to a large extent is going to be old, or not so recent. For example, the great and showy works of architecture in Havana are almost all more than half a century old, as are the cars, although these days there are quite a few modern cars since the laws have improved with respect to that. Even the people who remain here because of the damned migration are already quite old. In this selection of photographs, with which I want to enter the daily challenge #monomad, there is one that brings me very pleasant and happy memories, the interior of the car.

This is a 1985 Fiat Polski 126p that was until recently a member of my family. Despite being small, slow and a bit uncomfortable, we loved it very much. We lived great adventures and challenges in that car. It has very good mechanics, for being air-cooled and only having 2 cylinders it is one of the best engines I know. The temperatures here are hellish in summer and the car never gave us any problems regarding the temperature. One of the things I liked most about it was its air conditioning system. Lo viejo

Un gran saludo a los amantes del blanco y negro y de la fotografía en general. La selección que he hecho hoy no tiene muchas cosas en común, excepto que todo lo fotografiado es viejo. Aunque en un país que además de otros calificativos se conoce por su museo rodante casi todo lo que se fotografíe en gran medida va a ser viejo, o no tan reciente. Por ejemplo, las grandes y vistosas obras de arquitectura de La Habana casi todas tiene más de medio siglo, igual los autos aunque por estos tiempos hay bastante auto moderno ya que han mejorado las leyes con respecto a eso. Hasta la gente que va quedando aquí por la maldita migración es ya bastante vieja. En esta selección de fotografías, con las que quiero hacer entrada al reto diario #monomad, hay una que me trae muy gratos y felices recuerdos, el interior del carro. Este es un auto marca Fiat Polski 126p del año 1985 que fue hasta hace poco un miembro más de mi familia. A pesar de ser pequeño, lento y un poco incómodo lo queríamos mucho. Grandes aventuras y desafíos vivimos en ese auto. Tiene muy buena mecánica, para ser de enfriamiento por aire y solo contar con 2 cilindros es uno de los mejores motores que conozco. Las temperaturas aquí son infernales en verano y el auto nunca nos dió problemas con respecto a la temperatura. Una de las cosas que más me gustaba de él era su sistema de aire acondicionado. Si se fijan bien en la foto se ve clarito clarito. Bye!
