BLACK, WHITE AND RAIN || Monomad Challenge
Hello hivers of this distinguished community. This is my first time posting here and I have been really impressed with the quality of the images posted here. I have seen photographs that are really good and as an amateur in this art I am always a little afraid to expose my work in front of professionals.
But well, as they say in my land, of cowards nothing has been written, I bring you these black and white snapshots as participation in the #monomad challenge.
They were taken on one of my trips to the countryside, almost at the foot of one of the most important mountain formations of Pinar del Rio, Cuba.
It was one of those days when in the afternoons, due to the high temperatures of the day, some storms form and it rains a lot all of a sudden.
I have always liked black and white photography, by nature it tends to bring a dramatic character to the scene.
I hope you like my proposal and if you have any comments, constructive or not, or any advice, it will always be welcome and answered. Thank you very much.

Thank you. Truly those storms with rain due to the heat of the day, which is hellish here, always brings life and lots of inspiration, and especially in the countryside. Just the smell of wet earth is intoxicating, pure nostalgia and good memories. Maybe unconsciously these photos came out, which I love too. 👍
I like the stark reality of these black and white photos. Some of them remind me of the contrast and shadows I saw when I was out yesterday. Isolated moments stood out to me as if the shadows themselves had come alive.
