A new stage || Monomad

Hello passionate about black and white and unforgettable days. One day early last June we left mid-morning for a very special event for us. We arrived early... or not, a little late actually, but the event was late and we were on time. It was at the University of Havana, the UH as we call it here. There was the graduation ceremony for the graduation of the students who attended the twelfth grade at the University College of Havana. This is a special school that belongs to the UH, as a university extension for those who want to enter the university in pure sciences and a few other careers. There our daughter attended the last grade of pre-university, opting for the career of Pure Mathematics! A decision of great commitment and responsibility for daily study. For me it is as if she were studying Chinese or Latin, something very, very difficult to understand.

The atmosphere of parental pride could be felt by tons in the Aula Magna of the UH, a place with a lot of good history! And a lot of pride from the boys of course. A moment of total joy and satisfaction. Already in September the Alma Mater awaits them with open arms and a lot of wisdom. Here are some pictures of that unforgettable day, a day that will mark a before and after in our lives, and especially in the future of our daughter. Hola apasionados del blanco y negro y de los días inolvidables. Un día a principios de junio pasado salimos a media mañana hacia un evento muy especial para nosotros. Llegamos temprano... o no, un poco tarde en verdad, pero el acto se retrasó y estuvimos a tiempo. Fue en la Universidad de La Habana, la UH como le decimos aquí. Allí se hizo el acto de graduación de Bachiller de los estudiantes que cursaron el duodécimo grado en el Colegio Universitario de La Habana. Esta es una escuela especial que pertenece a la UH, como una extensión universitaria para aquellos que quieren entrar a la universidad en ciencias puras y otras pocas carreras. Allí cursó nuestra hija el último grado del preuniversitario, optando por la carrera de ¡Matemática Pura..! Una decisión de mucho compromiso y responsabilidad para con el estudio diario. Para mí es como si estudiara chino o latín, algo muy muy difícil de entender.
El ambiente de orgullo parental se respiraba por toneladas en el Aula Magna de la UH, ¡Un recinto con mucha buena historia! Y mucho orgullo de los muchachos porsupuesto. Un momento de total alegría y satisfacción. Ya en septiembre el Alma Mater los espera con los brazos abiertos y un montón de sabiduría. He aquí algunas capturas de ese inolvidable día, día que marcará un antes y un después en nuestras vidas, y sobre todo en el futuro de nuestra hija.
