There are already a few beautiful places here in Augsburg. Here is the Schaezlerpalais in Augsburg.

The building was constructed in 1765 in four years according to the plans of a Munich court architect named Karl Albert von Lespiliez.
The 14-year-old Marie-Antoinette, who was on her bridal journey to Versailles, came to visit at the opening in 1770.
Unfortunately, I was not able to visit the rococo halls. But the inner courtyard is open to the public at all times.
Whenever there are any special events in Augsburg, this courtyard is used and decorated for the festivities.
For example, the Augsburg Summer Nights, the Long Night of Lights and just now a Christmas market.

First of all, this is the entrance to the inside of the palace.

When you go through the gate, you enter a corridor. To the left and right of it are the museums. I didn't go in there, though.

But you can get an impression of what it looks like in the palace through the glass doors.

Straight on, you then come to the inner courtyard.

We are in the centre of Augsburg. On the street in front of the palace, you have no idea of the garden that lies behind the gate.

The way back looks similar, of course. It's the same, only from the other side.

I went back a few days later when the children's Christmas market was open.

Because you can't really see it from the outside, the number of visitors is always rather manageable. But it doesn't always have to be the masses of tourists.

Es gibt schon ein paar schöne Orte hier in Augsburg. Hier ist das Schaezlerpalais in Augsburg.

Das Gebäude wurde 1765 in Vier Jahren nach den Plänen eines Münchner Hofbaumeisters names Karl Albert von Lespiliez erbaut.
Zur Eröffnung 1770 kam die 14 jährige Marie-Antoinette zu besuch, die sich auf ihrer Brautfahrt nach Versailles befand.
Leider konnte ich die Rokoko Säle nicht besuchen. Aber der Innenhof ist jederzeit öffentlich begehbar.
Immer wenn in Augsburg irgendwelche Besonderheiten anstehen, wird dieser Innenhof genutzt und für die Festlichkeiten dekoriert.
Z.B. die Augsburger Sommernächte, die lange Nacht der Lichter und gerade ein Weihnachtsmarkt.

Zunächst ist das der Eingang zum Inneren des Palais.

Wenn man durch das Tor geht, gelangt man in einen Gang. Links und Rechts davon sind die Museen. Dort war ich allerdings nicht drin.

Aber man kann durch die Glastüren einen Eindruck gewinnen, wie es im Palais aussieht.

Gerade aus weiter kommt man dann in den Innenhof.

Wir sind mitten im Zentrum Augsburgs. Auf der Strasse vor dem Palais, ahnt man nichts von dem Garten, der hinter dem Tor liegt.

Der Weg zurück sieht natürlich ähnlich aus. Ist ja das gleiche nur von der anderen Seite.

Ich war ein paar Tage später nochmal dort, als der Kinderweihnachtsmarkt geöffnet war.

Dadurch, dass man es von Außen nicht wirklich sieht, ist die Besucheranzahl auch immer eher überschaubar. Es müssen aber auch nicht immer die Massen an Touristen sein.
